| Do you or an elderly family member need assistance with in-home personal care, such as grooming or bathing? Would light homemaking services, such as laundry, errands and cooking, allow your physically and/or mentally disabled loved one to remain in their own home? Is there need for specific care so that someone could stay in the comfort of their home rather than being prematurely institutionalized? Caregivers, do you need to get away for a few hours, but have no one to watch over your mother or father? |
We provide personal care in the home setting, from a one-hour visit to as long as needed, to assure individual dignity and independence. Respite care is also available in the home so that caregivers can have some free time for other needs in their lives.

Applying for Help:
Families seeking assistance may contact Home Care Options directly. A registered nurse will meet with each family to review their specific needs and fee arrangements. An Individual Care Plan will be established in writing, which will address the specific services that are needed and the frequency of those services. Regular registered nurse case supervision and monitoring is continually provided due to the changing needs of each individual.
Fees:
Fees are established on a sliding fee scale according to income. Services may be subsidized by the Area Office on Aging and/or the United Way of Greater Toledo.
Staffing:
We pride ourselves on providing the most experienced and well-trained staff available anywhere. Home health aides are selected after careful review of education, skills and work history. Successful passage of criminal background checks, drug screens and physicals are mandatory for all staff. These staff are continually supervised and monitored to meet or exceed all standards of care and services.
